Q. What is uBuyPrivate®?
uBuyPrivate is an Internet Property Advertiser.
You can register FREE. Members have access to My Folder where you can save your favourite properties and contact private home sellers direct.
Our services allow you to carry out a private sale or rental agreement that could save you thousands on estate agent commission fees. Unlike other online property advertisers we charge a one-off fee for a 12 month subscription with no monthly payments thereafter. You have 24hr access to your advert with no added fees to pay if you sell, buy, rent or let.
Q. Can I sell my property without an Estate Agent?
Yes.
Estate Agents are the conventional way to sell a property. Today with the increasing popularity of the internet, over 70% of house buyers search for a home using the internet first. As house prices keep rising, selling direct could save you thousands on sales commission fees.
When selling your home, please be aware of new legislation such as the Home Information Pack or H.I.P. www.homeinformationpacks.gov.uk
Q. Can I advertise with UBP if I'm with an Estate Agent?
Agent's contracts vary to such a degree; there is not one single answer to this question. We would recommend you check with your agent first or review your current contract.
Q. What is a H.I.P?

Q. Are HIPs required across the UK?
No - only in England and Wales.

Q. How do I register?
Simply click on join to register FREE and become a member of uBuyPrivate. You will need a valid email address which will become your username. Once you have registered, you will get an activation email. If you don't please check it's not in the Junk, Trash or Spam mailbox.
Q. How will I benefit by registering with UBP?
You will have access to My Folder where you can save homes you like to your favourites. You will also have access to sellers contact details.
Q. How do I buy a package?
Choose uSell or uLet depending on what you are trying to advertise. Pick a package and make a payment via Paypal. If you are not a member you will have to register. Paypal accepts Switch, Visa, Delta, MasterCard, Delta, American Express and Maestro.
Q. How do I make a payment?
Online payments are made via Paypal® . A Paypal® account is not needed to make a one off payment. Below are the card types Paypal can process:

Q. How many photos can I display?
It depends on your package.
Q. Where will my property for sale be advertised?
Your property can be viewed on our website from anywhere in the world. Basic listings are only marketed on the UBP website.
Q. How soon will my property ad go live on uBuyPrivate?
Once you have completed your property listing, the advert is sent to us for approval. If your advert is approved it should go live within 48hrs of your request.
Q. Once I have added my property to uBuyPrivate can I make changes?
Yes, using our custom made template you can access your advert for editing 24-hours a day. Simply login and go to My Folder, members area there is no limit to the number of changes you can make.
Q. How long is my subscription?
All subscriptions are for a maximum term of 12-months.
Q. I have a complaint to make?
If we have made an error, please let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to rectify it. If there is any part of our service you are not happy with please do not hesitate to contact us. All feedback is welcomed.
Q. Who values my property?
If you haven't already got a free valuation from your local estate agent, you have to set your own selling price. Online services such as www.NetHousePrices.com give free information on sold UK house price data. Take a look at what's selling locally and compare it with your own property to gain a rough idea of what your home is worth in the current market.
Q. Can you guarantee me success in finding me a house or a buyer?
No. uBuyPrivate cannot guarantee you will sell or let your property.
UBP will market your property on its website and other websites depending on your chosen listing package. Beware of over valuing your property this can put off potential buyers. Add clear photographs with your advert and as much relevant information as possible, for example room sizes, is there a garden, has the property been recently updated, etc.
The more information you can supply a buyer the better.
